Welcome the Cornelius House!

The Cornelius House is located at Clay &
2^nd Streets in Neillsville, Wisconsin and is
known as a Historic Landmark for the
Neillsville Community!

The Cornelius house was once serving as
the locality of the Lowe Funeral Home in the
late 1920s and 1930s.
The large, 3-story home featured a ballroom
on the second floor which was used for
entertaining guests and on occasions,
a band would be obtained so that the guests
could enjoy dancing.
In 1993 it was an apartment house.
This home was later "The Hubing
Apartments" and now (2007) has yet another
owner and is somewhat in need of repair.
